Drybar Austin is opening in the Domain Northside on Thursday.

Drybar Austin opens its 1,600-square-foot location at the Domain Northside on Thursday. The salon offers signature styles like the Cosmo (lots of loose curls), the Straight Up (straight with a little body), the Southern Comfort (big hair, lots of volume), the Mai Tai (messy and beachy), the Manhattan (sleek and smooth) the Dirty Martini (tousled and textured) and, for the little ladies, the Shirley Temple.

“Austin is one of my favorite cities and we’re so excited to finally be opening here,” said Alli Webb, founder of Drybar, in a press release. “I truly love the Austin fashion, art, music and tech scene and am honored to have Drybar be a part of the neighborhood.”

The salon has 10 chairs, phone docking stations and flat-screen TVs showing cult-favorite chick flicks. Drybar also has its own line of styling products and tools. And Webb released the book “The Drybar Guide to Good Hair For All,” in October.
