Rally racing, MotoCross and BMX dirt and Big Air are on tap on the third day of X Games Austin at Circuit of the Americas.

The competition kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with RallyCross Lites races in which 12 drivers race identically prepared 310-horsepower vehicles around a short, twisting course comprised of asphalt and dirt. The top six will advance to a 10-lap final in which the top three will earn medals.

Over at Turn 1, a dirt course has been set up down the hill for today’s BMX dirt competition, which gets under way at 11. Twelve riders will take to the six-jump course, which has a variety of jumps and gaps, and will be judged on their tricks. The top six will advance to the finals, where they’ll get three runs to go for gold.

Back at the rally track, 19 drivers will compete in the Ford RallyCross competition, which is also a round of the American-based Global RallyCross series.

Drivers such as Ken Block, Nelson Piquet Jr., Travis Pastrana and Tanner Foust will square off, driving 600-horsepower rally cars in a three-tiered format: quarterfinals, semifinals and a 10-lap, six-car final.

Skateboard park gets under way at 12:30 p.m. on a specially designed course on the circuit’s main straight. Twelve skaters will maneuver the course in round one, and the top six will advance to the final, where they will get three 40-second runs.

MotoCross takes over at 4 p.m. with speed and style, which combines racing with creativity. Eight riders will compete by facing off two at a time on a three-lap, motocross-inspired dirt course where they must not only race each other but perform tricks that are judged on creativity, style and more.

The MotoCross continues with freestyle at 7 p.m. with the freestyle competition, which pits 10 riders who perform tricks on a course that has dirt and metal jumps.

Saturday night competitions come to a close with BMX Big Air at 8:30 p.m. Eight riders will make three runs each on the massive Big Air ramp, where they will be judged on two tricks taken during the massive jumps.

The evening ends with a concert by rapper Kanye West at the circuit’s 14,000-seat amphitheater.

Gates open at 10 a.m.

Today’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 92.
