Mobile bike shop to stop in Austin

A mobile bike shop carrying mechanics and tailors will swoop into Austin - tire pumps and sewing needles poised, presumably - as part of a six-city “Go to Work” tour.
The Levi’s bike shop will park at the Empire Control Room & Garage, 606 E. Seventh Street, at 5 p.m. Aug. 20, offering free bike tune-ups, quick repairs such as handlebar wraps and brake pad replacement, bike races, live music and, yes, a professional tailor willing to sew patches on bags and stitch up your raggedy biking clothes. They’ll even wash and valet park your bike.
The shop will be open until 9 p.m. Bike races and performances by This Will Destroy You and Holy Wave are set for 8 p.m.
Everything is free and open to the public. (Must be 21 or older for the concert.)
