And ANOTHER meet up location. Now the group will meet at 701 S Capital of Texas Highway.
Meeting location has changed. Meet in the shopping center parking lot at Las Cimas Parkway and Loop 360, next to the bank.
A memorial bike ride is planned to honor Morgan Marold, a 28-year-old Austin woman who died last month when she was struck by a vehicle after losing control of her bicycle while riding on Bee Cave Road near Barton Creek Boulevard.
The memorial ride, organized by Please Be Kind to Cyclists, is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20. Cyclists will meet in the shopping center parking lot at Las Cimas Parkway and Loop 360, near the bank, for a short ride to the site of the accident.
“This ride honors Morgan and her family, who have been left behind with so much pain and sorrow. It is our way to show respect and support,” said Al Bastidas, founder of Please Be Kind to Cyclists.
Participants will place a white ghost bike at the site of the crash.
“The ghost bikes are a symbol and a reminder of the loss of life and the loss of a loved one,” Bastidas said.
