Did you read my story today about the Texas Cycling Challenge scheduled for March 8 in Marble Falls?

The folks who organize the Race Across America, better known as RAAM, are putting on a shorter bicycling event that includes 60, 120, 200 and 400-mile options.

I’m toying with the idea of the shortest distance, which doesn’t sound all that short to me, especially considering the hills. But that’s part of the fun.

They’ve offered up two free entries into the challenge - one for the 60-miler and another for the 120-miler.

If you want one, post here, telling me why you deserve it. Best answer wins!
