Tuesday, August 13 from 7 to 10 p.m. Summer Sparkling Dinner at Parkside. 3-course meal with hors d’oeuvres, amuse bouche and dessert, paired with sparking cocktails and sparkling wines. Proceeds benefit the Sustainable Food Center.

Wednesday, August 14 from 7 to 9 p.m.Recipe Design Class at Austin Homebrew Supply. Join Erik Ogershok from Real Ale for an enlightening and interactive discussion of how he designs new beer recipes, barrel aging, sour experiments, etc.

Friday, August 16 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. National Rum Day at Clive. Amy’s Ice cream teamed up with Sailor Jerry to make a rum-flavored ice cream. Clive bar will serve the ice cream with Sailor Jerry rum and rootbeer in Jerry Floats for $6.

Friday, August 23 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.Tour de Vin at the W Hotel.Taste through an international tour of wines and snacks from local restaurants. $60 for members, $80 for non-members.

Saturday, August 24 at 3:30 p.m. Austin Craft Beer Scene Tour. Explore Austin’s beer scene via bus. Tours visit breweries, brew pubs and beer bars. $65.

Sunday, August 25 at 7:30 p.m. Coffee and Beer pairing at Houndstooth Coffee. Pinthouse Pizza has paired up with Houndstooth for this pairing of coffee and beer. Pinthouse and Houndstooth also collaborated on a Black IPA and YirgZ coffee roasted by Houndstooth’s sister company Tweed Coffee Roasters, which will debut at the event. $20. Tickets can be bought at Houndstooth North Lamar.

Wednesday, August 28 at 7 p.m. 14th Anniversary Brewer’s dinner at North By Northwest. Five-course meal with beer pairings to celebrate the brewpub’s 14th anniversary. $49 per person includes a brewery tour, logo pint glass and key chain in addition to dinner.

Thursday, August 29 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Nerd Night at Central Market featured Austin Craft Beer. Meet local brewers and hear the stories behind their beer. Examples of home brew technique, trivia, and live music.

Thursday, August 29 at 7 p.m. World’s End Beer Dinner at Alamo Drafthouse Slaughter. Three-course meal with a welcome beer and a trio of petite beer floats to end the night, paired with a screening of the new Simon Pegg movie “The World’s End.”

Thursday, August 29 from 7 to 11 p.m. Vodka fest at The Russin House. Taste over 20 vodkas from around the world, appetizers and vodka infusion tastings. $15.

Friday, August 30 from 4 to 9 p.m. Firkin Night at Rogness Brewing Company. First ever firkin night at the brewery. Stay tuned to social media and to find out what unique beer we will be serving out of a firkin cask.
