Independence Brewing’s First Saturday Tour, 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1. Buy a pint, taste some beer and tour the brewery – you might even catch a glimpse of the new space.

North Door’s Just Say No to Sports Bar Super Bowl Viewing Party, 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2. A 25-ft. HD screen and a roster of drink specials, including the Acapulco Goal Post, featuring 1800 Coconut Tequila, pineapple juice and lime.

Fermentation Cycle, 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5. The second in a series of bicycle pub crawls with Wright Bros. Brew and Brew, Craft Pride and Hi Hat Public House. Combined, the bars will tap every Real Ale beer available.

Grapevine Brewery Glass Night at Black Star Co-op, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5. Meet the brewers at this North Texas operation and try out their Monarch Filtered Wheat and Lakefire Pale Rye (and keep the glass).

Valentine’s Day Coffee and Chocolate Pairing Class at Mockingbird Domestics, 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6. Houndstooth Coffee’s director of coffee and education, Daniel Read, will lead a workshop on brewing methods; also try Great Bean’s locally made raw, organic chocolate bars with coffee. $20.

Wine Workshop: Wines for Valentine’s Day at Central Market North Lamar, 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10. Sample six wines that draw out the romance. $10.

Burt Reynolds Birthday Special, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11. Show up to Pinthouse with a mustache (yes, even one drawn or pasted on) to get $1 off any Pinthouse mainstay pint. A 7 p.m. costume and mustache contest could win you a $500 gift card.

Haters Club Valentine’s Day Dinner and Drinks at Liberty Tavern, 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14. Drink specials include the Red Light, featuring Angel’s Envy bourbon, raspberry simple syrup, dry vermouth and a splash of soda.

Valentine’s Dinner at Hi Hat Public House, 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14. Six-course dinner with five beer pairings featuring the breweries Oskar Blues, Real Ale, Firestone Walker, Southern Tier and Austin Beerworks. $45 without beer pairings, $65 with. Casablanca Valentine’s Day Feast at Alamo Drafthouse, 6 and 7:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14. Cozy up to a four-course meal with wine pairings while watching romance classic “Casablanca.” $65.

Up & Down Tour at Casa Brasil Coffees and South Austin Brewing, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. Learn about the roasting and brewing processes behind craft coffee and craft beer. $35.

Annual Cheese and Beer Pairing at the Draught House, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16. The final event in Antonelli’s 3rd anniversary week featuring six cheeses matched up with six beers; brewers on hand to discuss the beers.

Whiskey Flights Series No. 1 at Easy Tiger, 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17 and Tuesday, Feb. 18. First come, first served for Easy Tiger’s new series showcasing whiskey. First up: Pappy Van Winkle. $40 includes 3/4 oz. tasting of each of the 4 whiskeys plus 1/4 baguette.

Come and Taste It at the Grapevine in Gruene, 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20. Enjoy Val Verde Winery and (512) Brewing’s offerings along with food samples, live music and giveaways.

Official Drink of Austin competition at AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center, 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20. Bar teams from local watering holes like Weather Up and Whisler’s compete to create Austin-inspired cocktails using Texas spirits. $65.

Sunday Funday tastings at Max’s Wine Dive, 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23. This month’s theme: Return of the Red-I. Sample five international wines and small bites from Executive Chef Erica Beneke.

Craft Beer Workshop: West Coast at Central Market North Lamar, 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24. Sample some beers from top breweries in Oregon, California and Hawaii and learn brewing techniques and more.

Bishop’s Barrel Chocolate and Beer Pairing at Banger’s, 7 to 11 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26. Saint Arnold Brewing founder Brock Wagner is dipping into his personal cellar to share all 6 of the hard-to-find Saint Arnold Bishop’s Barrel series (including one that will have just been released) with chocolate pairings from Banger’s executive chef Ted Prater. $50.

Craft Pride’s First Anniversary Party, 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28. Celebrate one year of the bar on Rainey Street that offers craft beers made only in Texas with, you got it, lots of beer, as well as pizza from trailer Via 313.
