Wanderlust, that smooth-as-honey mashup of yoga, music and adult beverages, is returning to Austin in November.

Last year marked the first Austin edition of the event, typically staged at mountain or beach resorts. Fans embraced it, streaming into yoga classes led by globe-trotting teachers and local favorites alike, sipping smoothies (and wine) and spreading a generally peaceful vibe.

Among the teachers scheduled to attend this year’s festival, scheduled for Nov. 6-9, are Eoin Finn, Vinnie Marino, Kia Miller, Tiffany Cruikshank and Keith Mitchell. Austin teachers Gioconda Parker, Leah Taylor, Ari Witkin, Malia Scott, Blake Hall, Jennifer Howard Brown, Mateo J. Daniel and Chris McClung will also lead classes. Happy Happy James, LouLou Ghelichkhani of Thievery Corporation and DJ Raz Rashid will spin tunes.

If this year’s event is anything like the inaugural version, expect women to outnumber men by about 10 to one, lots of Lululemon clothing and classes with names like “Hipster Flow” and “Yoga for Dudes.” Also on the schedule? Yoga on stand-up paddleboards, guided runs on the Barton Creek Greenbelt, electric bike expeditions, hooping classes and acroyoga demonstrations.

The event will take place at Wanderlust Yoga studio, 206 East Fourth Street, and the Brazos Hall event space next door, which has a rooftop deck.
