Ballet Austin’s Butler Community School will host classes for the fifth annual National Dance Day on July 26.

The Dizzy Feet Foundation has created two official routines for the event - an advanced routine to “Get My Name” by Mark Ballas, and a less complicated one to “Too Cool to Dance” by Eden xo. A third featured class will celebrate Cirque de Soleil’s Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour, teaching the choreography of Michael Jackson.

The event is held in connection with the FOX television series “So You Think You Can Dance.”

All classes on July 26 are $10 for a single class and $28 for an all-day pass.

Ballet Austin’s Butler Community School staff will record each of the featured routines at the end of class and submit the videos to the Dizzy Feet Foundation and National Dance Day 2014 officials.

Proceeds benefit Ballet Austin’s scholarship program, which is used to award more than $230,000 in financial aid/scholarships to Ballet Austin students annually.
