In case you hadn’t heard, Austin Fit Magazine’s AFM FitTest has been postponed until Saturday, June 7.

Heavy rains last week left the field at Camp Mabry so soggy that crews couldn’t put up equipment for the event. Instead, the two-day event was combined into a one-day event that will take place this Saturday, June 7. (Yes, yes, we know - that’s the same day as the opening of the boardwalk on the Butler Trail around Lady Bird Lake and during the X Games.)

The event will begin at 7 a.m. with team competition, followed by individual competition, with older age groups going first. The celebrity invitational portion of the event was dropped, said Leah Nyfeler, editor of Austin Fit Magazine. Just about everything else remains the same: Athletes will face the same 10 fitness tests, plus two mystery tests, in the same order.

Registration is closed, but it’s fun to watch. For more information, go to
