At RIDE Indoor Cycling, pedal for charity

Drop by for a class at RIDE Indoor Cycling this month and the studio will donate $1 to a non-profit organization as part of their Meaningful May fund-raising campaign.
For each bike booked between today and May 25, the studio will donate $1 to KIPP Austin, a free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public school.
For each bike booked between May 26 and June 1, the studio will donate $1 to Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, a local non-profit that provides access to affordable health care to Austin’s low income, uninsured working musicians.
Earlier in the month, the studio donated to the Center for Child Protection amd Casa Marianella.
I think of RIDE as a 45-minute mashup of a fitness class and nightclub outing, with stationary bicycles, flashing lights, pounding music and the encouragement of a very enthusiastic instructor. (I went to a class led by David Garza last year and, whew - the sweat!)
RIDE is located at 117 Lavaca Street. Class schedules are posted at www.ride-indoorcycling.com.For more information, go to www.ride-indoorcycling.com.
