Fall Creek Vineyard and Grape Creek got a surprise this week when their wineries were featured on Wednesday’s episode of “Jeopardy.”

For the first time in history, the long-running game show included a category of five answer-questions all about Texas wine, including this $400 question: “The Hill Country’s Fall Creek Vineyards says its chenin this has notes of pear, peach and honeysuckle.” (Contestant Ed answered correctly with “What is blanc?)

The Texas Twister wine from Fort Worth’s Cowtown Winery, Grape Creek’s “Tuscany in Texas” marketing campaign and the state’s Red River Valley were among the other answers in the episode.

Here’s the clip, which was posted on Fall Creek Vineyards’ Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=252088184983312
