Banger’s 2nd Anniversary Party, 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2. More than 80 notable beers will be on tap and in bottles for the all-day celebration that includes live music and animal roasting.

Oasis, Texas Brewing’s Grand Opening Party, 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2. Yeah, yeah, you’ve already seen their beers around town, but this party will have special tappings and cool swag.

Live Oak Grodziskie release at the Draught House, 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2. Every Grodziskie sold benefits the Austin Polish Society and the 2014 Austin Polish Film Festival.

12th Annual Grape Stomp at Dry Comal Creek, 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug. 9. One person collects the grapes, the other person stomps on ‘em. And it’s a competition against the other pairs of people doing the same thing. Who can produce the most juice? The grape stomp sells out every year, so get tickets as soon as possible. $130.

The House That Bars Built, throughout August. On certain days this month, the Mean Eyed Cat, Rattle Inn, Star Bar, Lavaca Street Bar, the Gibson and the Dogwood are donating a percentage of profits to Habitat for Humanity to help build a home for a family in need.

Solaro Estate Harvest, 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9. Help to harvest a row of 2014 Vintage Barbera or Montepulciano, then watch or assist with the crush. The morning of work will be followed by an afternoon of barbecue and live music. To participate, either email or call 832-660-8642.

Up & Down Tour at Casa Brasil and South Austin Brewing, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9. The monthly exploration of coffee and beer.

Karbach Brewing Launch Party at Easy Tiger, 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12. The Houston-based brewery is officially launching in Austin, and Easy Tiger will have four of their brews and a pint glass giveaway.

Fall Creek Vineyard’s Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 and 23. The main attraction is the “stomp,” when guests can kick off their shoes and experience the thrill of barefoot grape stomping, but there will also be wine tastings, a celebrity chef-made lunch and more.

Sailor Jerry DIY Bloody Jerry bar at Yellow Jacket Social Club, 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. A celebration of National Rum Day with rum-based Bloody Marys, an over-the-top garnish bar, full brunch menu and an Elvis tribute band.

Independence Brewing’s 4th Annual Pubs for Pups Crawl, 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. Pub crawl starting at Little Woodrow’s, then Star Bar and the Dogwood. $30 for four beer tickets, a pint glass and a T-shirt.

Adelbert’s Brewery and Fork & Vine Dinner, 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16. Five pork courses paired with Adelbert’s beers. $75.

Hops & Grain’s the Bike Affair, 11 a.m. 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17. A fundraising party for 1400 Miles with bike-related activities planned – with beer, of course. $30.

Around the World Rosé Dinner at Jasper, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19. Explore the different regions that produce rosé and learn about the perfect summer wine with a four-course dinner. $95.

Whiskey Roundup at tenOak, 8 to 11 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20. Whiskey sampling, classes about whiskey and guidance on pairing food with whiskey. For the tasting, you’ll get a total of six tickets. $15.

New Belgium’s Sensory Sour Symposium, 5 to 7 p.m. or 8 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21. Learn about the art of beer blending with New Belgium’s Lauren and Eric Salazar. You’ll get to do some of it yourself, as well as enjoy food and beer pairings. $50.

Herman Marshall Texas Whiskey Tasting at Urban Wine + Liquor at the Austonian, 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22. Russel Louis, an owner and distiller with Herman Marshall, will be conducting the free tasting, with specially priced bottles available for purchase.

School House Pub’s 1st Anniversary Party, 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23. $10 tickets get you two free beers from Six Point, Brooklyn Brewery, Thirsty Planet and Abita and $2 beers after that.

la V’s Flights & Bites, 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27. This month’s theme “Keeping it Cool” will feature four small plates paired with chilled wines. Seats are limited, so reserve yours by calling 512-391-1888 or emailing $55.

Dogfish Head Tap Takeover and Fish Fry at Whole Foods Domain, 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28. Cellared beers from Dogfish Head will be tapped, including Punkin, Sah’tea, Palo Santo and more. The 60 Minute IPA will also be randalled.

Messina Hof Harvest Festival, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30. It’s time to harvest and stomp on the grapes, and there’s a whole celebration around the tradition – food, games, wine and more.

Salt & Time’s Ranger Creek Beer Dinner, 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31. The full menu on this five-course pairing dinner hasn’t been released yet, but the beer has: Ranger Creek Strawberry Milk Stout, Small Batch #9, Love Struck Hefeweizen and more all make this a dinner not-to-miss. $86.60.
