SXSW Eats: What’s on the menu at Rachael Ray’s Feedback?
Rachael Ray’s Feedback party is back for the seventh year, and as in recent years, she’ll take over Stubb’s BBQ from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Saturday of the South by Southwest Music Festival. (That’s March 15.)
Ray’s crew announced the musical line-up today, which includes Cee Lo Green, Blondie and Foxboro Hot Tubs (a side project from Green Day), as well as a glimpse at the food, which is always free and served in mass quantities throughout the day.
This year’s menu includes Whiskey Chicken Drummer, 7-Hour Smoked Brisket Sliders, Grilled Eggplant and Tomato Sliders with Spicy Tahini and a cracked Dijon mustard frankfurter with Kimchi Chow Chow relish that uses hot dogs from party sponsor Ball Park’s Finest. As in years’ past, drinks will be provided by the Blue Moon Brewing Company.
Ray’s invitation-only Feedback House parties will take place March 13-15 on East Cesar Chavez Street and will feature food from Chicago’s Lillie’s Q barbecue, Gourdough’s Specialty Doughnuts and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream.
You can find out more about the parties at feedback.rachaelray.com. There is an option to RSVP on that website, but the party is always first come, first served, so get in line early the day of the Stubb’s party if you want guaranteed entrance.
