For the past three years, Emancipet has hosted a Sit Stay Day fundraiser that brings in money for veterinary care for pets in need, while giving homegrown Austin treats to both pets and their humans.

Each year, the local nonprofit puts together a Valentine’s Day-inspired kit packed with goodies, including Tito’s Handmade Vodka, wine from Fall Creek Vineyards, bread and cheese from Whole Foods Market, LovePuppies Brownies and gift cards to Frank and Zocalo Cafe.

Each kit costs $175, including delivery in the Austin area on Thursday, February 13, and the money helps provide low-cost and free spay and neutering, as well as preventative care. You can order them online at emancipet.org/events/sit-stay-day.

Other Sit Stay Day sponsors include: Austin Dogtown Boarding & Daycare, Austin Pets Directory, BlueAvocado, The Container Store, Cowgirl Treatery, FABI+ROSI, Go Local Austin, Gourmet Gals Catering & Events, Greenling, Primizie Crispbreads, Rio’s Brazilian Café, Rhythm Superfoods, Shiner Beers, Shweiki Media, Spartan Pizza, The Steeping Room, Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop, Taurus Training and Doggy Play Day, Midtown Commons, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming – Austin and Yellowbird Sauce.
