Events: Hank Shaw cooking at Foreign & Domestic
Hank Shaw to cook from new book at Foreign & Domestic
Hank Shaw, the cookbook author and James Beard-winning blogger, will be cooking Monday at Foreign & Domestic, 306 E. 53rd St., in part to help promote “Duck, Duck, Goose: The Ultimate Guide to Cooking Waterfowl, Both Farmed and Wild” (Ten Speed Press, $24.99), the follow-up to his popular 2011 debut “Hunt, Gather, Cook.”
Joining Shaw will be Foreign & Domestic chef Ned Elliott and Austin’s Jesse Griffiths, a fellow hunter turned cookbook author. Tickets for the 6 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. seatings cost $55, and you can buy them and find out more at fndaustin.com/hank-shaw-dinner.
(Shaw and Griffiths first met on a Central Texas fishing trip in 2011; we tagged along for a story and video.)
