You can only eat so many burgers and fried chicken over the course of a summer.

Salads might not be the first dish we seek when eating out, but Suzanna Cole, who lives and works in South Austin and writes the blog SouthAustinFoodie.com, knows that restaurant salads are sometimes way better than homemade.

Over the weekend, she shared this photo on Instagram (she’s @southaustinfoodie) of a Thai steak salad from the Galaxy Gafe located near the intersection of Brodie and Slaughter lanes. Galaxy Cafe, which has three locations in Austin, serves several salads that are hefty enough for dinner or lunch, and this one is topped with grilled steak, crispy wonton strips, roasted red bell peppers, peanuts, cucumbers and a side of chile peanut dressing.
