Openings/Closings: Second locations for The Meat House, Blue Dahlia
¦ Open: The Meat House, the second location of the national butcher shop franchise at 10621 W. Parmer Lane in Avery Ranch. ¦ Open: Kolache Factory, the Houston chain, has opened a drive-through trailer at 6901 RM 620 North in the Four Points Area. kolachefactory.com.
¦ Open: Blue Dahlia, the second location of the bistro at 3663 Bee Caves Road, 306-1668, bluedahliabistro.com.
¦ Open: Stonehouse Wood Fire Grill, a trailer at 10910 RM 620 North serving burgers, kebabs, wraps and salads. 769-6478, thestonehousegrill.com.
¦ Open: BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse, the third Austin-area location of the California-based brewery chain, at 4201 N. IH-35 in Round Rock. 868-5705, bjsrestaurants.com.
¦ Moved: After the East Side Drive In trailer park closed this year, several trailers were forced to find new homes. Pueblo Viejo is serving Mexican food at 901 E. Sixth St., while The Vegan Yacht and Mati Greek Trailer moved to 1110 E. 12th St. Love Balls is now at 2906 Fruth St., just off 29th Street. Pig Vicious will be reopening at 617 E. 7th St. in coming weeks. In other trailer news, Osaka Soul is now at Scoot Inn, 1308 E. 4th St., and Thunder Heart Bison: Ranch To Trailer has relocated to 1104 E. Sixth St.
¦ Chef changes: Former Fino/Asti chef Jason Donoho has landed at the Alamo Drafthouse, where he'll be working with his fellow Fino co-worker Bill Norris on the company's food and beverage team, which also includes chefs John Bullington and Trish Eichelberger. Jacob Weaver confirmed last week that he is overseeing the culinary programs at both Haddingtons and Mulberry.
¦ Closed, for now: Bistrot Mirabelle, the French bistro at 8127 Mesa Drive, is closing through Labor Day and will reopen with a new name and concept, says owner Brian O'Neill Bistrot. Chef Dan Haverty, who joined the team this year, is no longer with the restaurant.
¦ Closed: Cat Mountain Grill, the restaurant off RM 2222 in Northwest Hills.
