The 'Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book' is one of the most ubiquitous cookbooks in American kitchens. It has sold more than 40 million copies since 1930, which means the likelihood that you have one in your own kitchen is pretty high. We're looking for the most floured, stained, beat-up and well-worn copy that exists in Austin. Send us a photo of your beloved, passed-down copy by Oct. 30, and we'll choose a winner. The winner will get a turkey fryer in time for Thanksgiving. Entrants must provide a name and contact phone number, and be able to pick up the fryer from our offices. Entries may be submitted via mail: P.O. Box 670, Austin, Texas 78767 or digitally at: www.austin360.com/go/cookbookupload.
