"Damages" 9 p.m., DirecTV: Season 4 - airing only on the satellite provider's own channel 239 - takes on the expansive topic of privatized military operations.

"Rescue Me" 9 p.m., FX: The Denis Leary drama's final season begins tonight with Tommy dealing with the fallout of Sheila and Janet's "bonding."

"Legend Quest" 9 p.m., Syfy: This show - sort of a real-life "Warehouse 13" - tonight joins a quest for the Ark of the Covenant. I wonder if they checked that warehouse from the Indiana Jones movies?

"Roseanne's Nuts" 8 p.m., Lifetime: Tell me something I don't know. The comedienne heads to Hawaii to farm macadamias in this reality series premiere.

"Ghost Hunters International" 8 p.m., Syfy: A Trinidad cocoa plantation ghost is hunted in the Season 3 kickoff. Mmmm … scary and chocolatey!
