Round Rock will host the U.S. Quidditch Cup for second year in a row

It’s as if Central Texas “Harry Potter” fans swallowed a vial of Liquid Luck. For the second year in a row, Round Rock was chosen to host the U.S. Quidditch Cup.

The national championship tournament will take place April 13-14 at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Old Settlers Park.

The 2019 event will be the 12th annual national tournament. Round Rock was chosen through a “highly competitive” bid process, according to a press release.

This year’s tournament brought 63 college and 24 community teams with more than 4,000 athletes, fans, officials and volunteers to Round Rock.
