Texan Richard Linklater’s filmography is as varied as his home state’s geography. The man has never attempted writing for television, though. That may change soon, according to a new report in IndieWire.
“I have a script I’m working on now that touches into Texas. It’s a true story that’ll be somewhere down the line that touches on demagoguery, a kind of con man, let’s say. To me, that’s apt for our times,” Linklater told the publication.
In addition to whatever new show comes of that idea, Linklater is also working on “Last Flag Flying,” which catches up with the trio from “The Last Detail” years later on one last mission, and is also set to begin filming on “Where’d You Go, Bernadette” right now.
But, in addition to those upcoming projects, Linklater has more than 25 director’s credits to his name. Which one of his many films should you watch? Let our quiz be your guide.
