Kacey Musgraves calls Las Vegas mass shooting ‘disgusting and appalling’ 

Country queen, and good friend of Willie Nelson, Kacey Musgraves took to Twitter early Monday morning to express her “disgust” and fear as a performer following a mass shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas Sunday.

According to the Associated Press, 58 people were killed in the shooting and more than 500 were wounded.

Musgraves, who lived in Austin for a time, tweeted the following after “just hearing about Vegas”:

Musgraves also “liked” the following tweet posted by Natalie Osborne, the sister of country duo the Brothers Osborne, saying the incident hit, “way too close to home”:
