Three words. One phrase. It’s the only line of dialogue that Groot the Flora colossus speaks in Marvel’s “The Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Avengers: Infinity War” films.

(Well, he does have one other variation on that phrase, but it’s a bit spoiler-y, so I’ll leave that one alone.)

Hirschi High School engineering teacher Jeffrey Scott Davis’ assignment was simple: Create a  resume and cover letter for your favorite Marvel character. Any Marvel character.

You see where this is going.

The student replied to every section with, you guessed it, “I am Groot.”

The tweet has since gone viral. Vin Diesel (who voices Groot), Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Pratt and “Guardians” director James Gunn were tagged in the tweet, but none have acknowledged it yet on Twitter.

Many were quick to jump in the comments with some tree-related puns.

And many were clamoring for the student to get an A+. The directions for the assignment were followed, after all.

According to Buzzfeed, “The student received a 95 and 100 for two separate assignments.”

I am Groot!
