The order had banned all commercial or navigational boating and recreational use of all of Austin’s creeks, Barton Creek, Bull Creek, Lake Austin from Mansfield Dam to Tom Miller Dam, Lady Bird Lake and the Colorado River downstream from Longhorn Dam.

The ban was lifted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, but Austin Fire Chief Rhoda Mae Kerr reserves the right to reactive it should weather conditions worsen.
