BookPeople announced Saturday that tickets are on sale for a virtual Tuesday night conversation between Lady Gaga and her mom, Cynthia Germanotta. Besides being mother and daughter, the two co-founded the Born This Way Foundation in 2012 to support "the mental health and wellness of young people, empowering them to build a kinder, braver world." Germanotta is president of the foundation.

Their new book, "Channel Kindness," which will be released on Tuesday, is described as a collection of stories of resilience about "young people around the world who found their inner strength, prevailed in the face of bullies, started their own social movements, and decided to break through the mental health stigma."

Some of the people featured in the book will be part of the live event. Tickets for the conversation, which starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, are $33.49 and include a copy of the book. Austin’s BookPeople is one of the affiliate partners, and purchasing through this link benefits the store, according to a release from the store. More on the event and Born this Way here.
