H-E-B employees who continue to work through the coronavirus pandemic got a celebrity message of thanks Thursday.
Actor and Texas burger joint owner Mark Wahlberg sent a video message of thanks to H-E-B employees that was posted to Facebook Thursday.
In the video, Wahlberg thanks H-E-B employees for "manning the frontlines for us and doing a great job keeping all of us stocked with all of the things we need to survive."
Wahlberg isn’t the first celebrity to laud the Texas grocery chain for its response during the coronavirus pandemic.
Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted out a link to a Texas Monthly article that explored the company’s pandemic preparedness plan last week, calling it "a masterclass in preparation."
I read this story in @TexasMonthly today about @HEB and it is a masterclass in preparation and being ready to support your community. https://t.co/boIJ9UfvqC— Arnold (@Schwarzenegger) March 26, 2020
