NextTribe, the Austin-based internet magazine for women 45 and older from Jeannie Ralston and Lori Seekatz expanded to events last year.

This year, they planned an event tied to South by Southwest: Start Me Up! A Party & Panel for Women Entrepreneurs at Midlife and Beyond.

The event will go on, Ralston says, and feature speakers Rochelle Weitzner, owner of skincare line Pause Well-Aging for women in the three stages of menopause; Michelle Breyer, co-founder of Texture Media for people with curly hair and chief operating officer of SKU consumer products accelerator; Sherry "ShamRock" Leetham, founder of dance fitness exercise CheerKamp, and the inventor of weighted popmpoms PoundPoms; and Elizabeth Davis, founder and president of consulting firm Authentic Impact and Austin chapter chair of the Women Presidents Organization.

Ralston will moderate the panel. RSVP for the 6-8 p.m. March 16 event at editorial@NextTribe.com. The location of the panel will be given to attendees once they register. Tickets are $20.
