The Hai Hospitality team, which includes Uchi, Uchiko and Loro in Austin, stretches out across the state and into Colorado (and soon Miami).


The company co-founded by chef Tyson Cole features an impressive array of talented chefs, including more than a few accomplished female chefs. Many of those women will gather Friday evening at Uchiko for Hai for Her, a collaborative dinner in honor of National Women’s Day.


Eight chefs will prepare a 10-course meal in the private dining room at Uchiko. There will be seatings at 5:30 and 9 p.m. and cost is $175. The event benefits Girlstart, a non-profit organization that "designs and implements innovation, high-quality STEM education programs that inspire girls (K-12) to help transform the world we live in."
