The halftime show during Saturday’s Longhorns game vs. the University of Kansas featured a surprise tribute to Texas’ very own Grammy Award winner Kacey Musgraves.

The band’s members spelled out “Grammy 2019” and then “Kacey” while playing “High Horse,” a fan-favorite track from “Golden Hour,” which won the 2019 Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

Musgraves was flattered by the tribute and especially pleased that the Longhorns spelled her name correctly.

WOW- this is as random as it is delightful...!!! And thanks for spelling my name right https://t.co/tcTrlKCT2y
