Portland-based java chain Black Rock Coffee Bar will open three Austin-area locations this fall.
The new coffee shops include:
A 1,900-square-foot store on William Cannon and Southwest Parkway in southwest Austin with a drive thru, expected to open in November. An 1,887-square-foot free-standing location at Gattis School and SH 130 in Pflugerville with a drive thru, expected to open in January. A 1,900-square-foot store drive thru on FM 620 and Smyers Lane at the Point at 620 in Round Rock with a drive thru, expected to open next summer. “We couldn’t be happier to be expanding in to the great state of Texas!” Jeremy Brand, Vice President of Operations - Texas, Black Rock Coffee Bar, said in a release. “We’re excited to become a gathering place, as we establish meaningful connections in our local neighborhoods.”
Black Rock Coffee Bar currently operates 65 company-owned and franchise stores in Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, Idaho, Nevada and Colorado.
