The change keeps coming.

In this week’s episode of I Love You So Much: The Austin360 Podcast, we pay tribute to an Austin icon. Tex-Mex restaurant El Patio is closing on Aug. 9 after more than 65 years in business. Restaurant critic and reporter Matthew Odam talked to some of the people who loved it.

Paul Joseph opened the restaurant in 1954, and his family has run it ever since. A beloved queso spot to University of Texas royalty and students, Austinites famous and anonymous, El Patio left an indelible mark on Austin culture.
