Austin took over The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night as country singer Willie Nelson and University of Texas Forward Jaxson Hayes made appearances on the show.

Nelson went on the show to talk about his new release "Ride Me Back Home," and his Outlaw Music Festival, where he is performing with Alison Krauss, The Avett Brothers, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats.

The 86-year-old singer said on the show that he dedicated his new album to horses, after rescuing about 50 horses that were prepared to be slaughtered.

Nelson was also asked about his life-saving experience with marijuana and he gifted Fallon with weed from Willie's Reserve, the singer's own marijuana company. Nelson said he appointed himself as the "chief testing officer" of the business.

Nelson performed "My Favorite Picture of You" to end his night.

Texas Power Forward Jaxson Hayes participated in a game during the show, where he tried shooting random objects through a hoop with Fallon and other NBA draft prospects.

Hayes tried tossing a shoe with cheese filled in it into the basket, but could not get it to fall.

Other participants included Duke Forward R.J. Barrett, University of North Carolina Guard Coby White, Virginia Guard De'Andre Hunter and Vanderbilt Guard Darius Garland.
