With every Easter weekend comes the national debate about the best Easter candy. But some Texas have already made up their mind.

According to a new survey, Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate Eggs are the most popular Easter candy in Texas.

RetailMeNot, a corporation which hosts coupon websites, asked people throughout the U.S. about their favorite Easter candy. The eggs topped the list in Texas and in 28 other states, including Washington, D.C..

People expressed their preference for four other candies, including Cadbury Creme Eggs, jelly beans, chocolate bunnies and Peeps. The survey said Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate Eggs were the most popular in the U.S and 32% of people said they preferred the candy.

According to the survey, 17% of people said they prefer Cadbury Creme Eggs — the second-most popular candy in the U.S. The eggs were followed on the list by jelly beans, at 16%, chocolate bunnies, at 10%, and Peeps, at 6%.

RetailMeNot also asked people if they liked Peeps and 73% said no.
