If you want to see your artwork featured in one of the greatest places in the world, here’s your chance.

Austin Central Library is calling for “artists, collectives, curators and beyond” to propose one of four exhibitions shown from October 2019 to September 2020.

Those selected will create an exhibit for the library’s 1,200-foot gallery space. A jury will select the exhibitions and announce the candidates in late April. Applications are free to submit and accepted until March 17.

For non-artists, "For All People: Introducing the National Museum of African American History and Culture," a poster exhibition celebrating the 2016 opening of the latest Smithsonian museum, opens on Feb. 1. Three other exhibitions are currently on display in the gallery. As always, the Library and its gallery are free to visit.
