Austin restaurants are consistently named some of the best in the country.
But is the food here really that good?
According to WalletHub, Austin is the 10th-best city for foodies in the United States. The study examined affordability, diversity, accessibility and quality when it comes to restaurants, grocery stores, farmers markets, food trucks and other food-related criteria across the country in a new study.
Austin was the highest-ranked Texas city on the list, followed by Houston at No. 18, San Antonio at No. 21 and Dallas at No. 31. Also in the top 100 were Fort Worth, Irving, Laredo and El Paso.
