Let it snow, let is snow, let it please happen here, too.

The holiday season isn’t a time for jealousy, but can you help but turn a little Grinch-green when you hear that other Texas cities have already been dusted with snow?

Lubbock got the first few flakes earlier this week, but the San Antonio Express-News reports that both Eagle Pass and Bracketville woke up to snowfall Thursday. Social media users have also shared pictures of a snowy El Paso and Alpine.

Austin’s Wednesday forecast did include a chance of snow, but that was yesterday and we remain very snowless.

Snow in the desert!! The Basin Rd has closed while we clear snow, but may remain closed for several hours. Most of the park is currently snowing, so it should be easy to take advantage of this rare, special event. pic.twitter.com/iQb4xQa1ag
