Food Network-famous Austin bakers build ‘Two-Headed Dog’ cake for Roky Erickson’s 70th birthday

The fine people at Sideserf Cake Studio in Austin (currently seen on the Food Network show “Texas Cake House”) created this magnificent two-headed dog cake for Austin music legend Roky Erickson’s 70th birthday (which was July 15).

“Two-Headed Dog” is, of course, one of Roky’s classic songs from his ‘70s proto-punk period -- this particular beast was his first post-13th Floor Elevators tune and was produced by Doug Sahm.
