5 Austin drinks you’ll want to snap before you sip

Do you know where your next Instagram post is? If you’re thirsty, and your social media presence is looking dry, you can kill two birds with one beautifully crafted beverage.

These are five summer drinks that look as good as they probably taste, but I can’t say for sure because I have never tried any of them.

1. Love Latte at Juice Society

Swirly. The Love Latte is a mix of maqui berry, turmeric, matcha and blue lotus juice. It looks like the glitter water tube toy from your childhood. If that’s a little too fun for you, there’s also a striking Activated Latte with cold brew, almond milk, maple, activated charcoal and tocos.

#LoveLatte pride✌🏼 ❤️💛💚💙💜#austintx

2. La Sandia at Azul Rooftop Pool Bar + Lounge

Azul’s menu claims that La Sandia, a mix of mezcal and watermelon sorbet serves two. So grab a friend, or get really thirsty, and don’t forget your swimsuit. Located on the roof of the Westin, what one one TripAdvisor user called “very hip,” the pool and downtown skyline make for the perfect backdrop for a picture of you looking petite holding an entire watermelon.

It's #nationalwatermelonday and we wish we were on the @azulrooftop rn drinking this 🍉🍹☀️

3. Passion Refresher at Mango8

All of the drinks from Mango8 are colorful and pretty and can be served in a light bulb. The popular Passion Refresher is a mix of butterfly tea and passionfruit.

4. Frozen Bee’s Knees at King Bee

The Frozen Bee’s Knees is a take on the classic gin, honey and lemon cocktail, but it comes adorned with its own edible flower bouquet. All this liquid garden is missing is some real honey bees.

Almost too pretty to drink. Almost. #getinmybelly

The "Bee's Knees" cocktail: tastes like honey, topped with flowers. 🐝🌺🍯

5. Fro-mo at Grizzelda’s

It’s really just a margarita with a popsicle in it, but depending on your flavor choices this cocktail can make for quite a visually appealing beverage. But at a place where water comes served in a large glass fish, that’s right on theme.

When in doubt get the popsicle and put it in your margarita! #margarita #popsicle #happyhour #celebration
