Check out an Austin B-cycle and the non-profit will make a donation to SafePlace.
To participate in the #PedalForGood campaign, hop on one of B-Cycle’s special blue #PedalForGood bikes anytime in April. When you do, the organization will donate $8 (up to $2,000) to SafePlace, which works to end sexual and domestic violence. You must check the bike out and return it to a different station or make a round trip that lasts more than 5 minutes.
“Part of our mission is to reinvest in our community, and with all the work they do to help women and families in need, it makes perfect sense for us to partner with SafePlace on this campaign,” said Elliott McFadden, Austin B-cycle executive director.
Austin B-cycle launched in December and currently operates 40 stations. For more information go to Austin.Bcycle.com.
