This weekend’s events include a double header of ‘Harry Potter’

4th Annual Harry Potter Drive-In Film Festival. The Blue Starlite Mini-Urban Drive-In solemnly swears it’s up to no good with the return of the popular Harry Potter Film Fest, which screens each of the “Harry Potter” films and the “Fantastic Beasts” movie through Dec. 9. Pre-show entertainment for the festival is inspired by the films and includes: movie trivia with prizes, mini- Quidditch games, photo stations, a Diagon Alley-inspired artists market and more. Art

First Annual Plein Air Austin Art Show and Sale. Explore original art painted in Zilker Botanical Garden and around Austin by talented local artists. The plein air artwork will be displayed for viewing and purchase in the garden center. “Plein air” is a French expression meaning ‘open air’ and describes the outdoor setting in which an artist creates their work. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday. House our Heroes fundraiser at Stubb’s outdoors. This second annual event presented by Red White & Blues 512 seeks to address the problem of homeless veterans in the Austin community. Some of Austin’s top roots and blues acts will perform: Shinyribs, Carolyn Wonderland, Mingo Fishtrap, and Nakia & the Blues Grifters. “Vive la France!” The Austin Symphonic Band presents a concert of French music — music by French composers and music inspired by France. The concert includes pieces by Darius Milhaud, Claude Debussy, Martin Ellerby and George Gershwin, plus classic French marches. 4 p.m. Sunday. $8-$12.
