2 Austin pizza stars to join forces for night of cheesy fundraising

Two of Austin’s best pizza places are joining forces for what promises to be a delicious night of fundraising.

Via 313 and Home Slice are topping off a month of “Doughvember” with a final night of cheesy fun.

On Nov. 28 the two restaurants will convene at Home Slice and try their respective dough-kneading hand at each others’ most loved pies.

If you make it out, you’ll have a chance to try Home Slice’s Classic #5 (pepperoni and mushroom) on Via 313’s Detroit-style crust or Via 313’s 500 (pepperoni, pineapple and jalapenos) on Home Slice’s thin New York-style crust.

Via 313 will also be making a classic cheese pizza and their Detroiter in Home Slice’s ovens.

The specials are available for dine-in only, and funds from the event will go toward No Kid Hungry.

Not to be the odd slice out, Pinthouse Pizza will also provide its Old Beluga Amber Ale throughout the night.

You can RSVP to the event on Facebook here
