Celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern is no stranger to Austin, and the television star will return during South by Southwest to host a pop-up brunch on March 15 at chef Rene Ortiz’s Launderette in East Austin.
The Asian-inspired brunch, which runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., will be a collaborative affair with Ortiz and Launderette chef-partner Laura Sawicki, one of the state’s top pastry chefs. See the complete menu at the bottom of this post.
The "Zimmern Brunch" is $40 per guest and reservations, which are required, can be made on line at launderetteaustin.com.
