As 2019 and the decade that enclosed it retreat into our collective rear view mirror, we take a look at some of the year’s tastiest bites from new restaurants and examine what restaurant openings of the past decade had the biggest impact on the Austin dining scene.


The recent year brought us exciting new flavors from DipDipDip Tatsu-Ya, Comedor and Uroko, among others; while the years between 2010 and 2019 saw impactful openings from the likes of Barley Swine, Suerte, Franklin Barbecue and more.
