Austin-based nonprofit Hand to Hold, which helps families who have a child in the neonatal intensive care unit or have lost a infant, is offering a new service to parents going through this.

Through a grant from St. David’s Foundation, Hand to Hold is piloting a counseling program for up to 20 mothers or couples of color who have children younger than 3 who have graduated from a NICU.

Hand to Hold’s licensed therapist will offer 10 to 12 weeks of free one-hour counseling to these families.
