Every day of the year is another random holiday, like National Pasta Day (Oct. 25) and National Deviled Eggs Day (Nov. 2). Tuesday (Oct. 29) is also a really important day: World Stroke Day.

According to the National Stroke Association, 1 in 4 people in the world will have a stroke during their lifetime.

Austin Speech Labs, which teaches people how to talk again after a stroke is holding a World Stroke Day Health Fair to promote stroke awareness and prevention.

The fair includes health and wellness vendors, health screenings, a raffle, live music and healthy burgers from “Chopped” star Zack Northcutt.

The fair is 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, outside Austin Speech Labs, 7800 Shoal Creek Blvd. It’s free and open to the public.
