Newly rejuvenated in recent years a full two decades after commercial breakthrough, Austin power-pop trio Fastball releases "The Help Machine," its second album since 2017 after an eight-year gap, on Friday. Working with producer Steve Berlin, the Los Lobos multi-instrumentalist who's produced records for dozens of artists including the Tragically Hip, Susan Tedeschi, and local acts Marcia Ball and Sweet Spirit, the band continues to build an impressive resume that firmly ranks Fastball as one of the best rock bands ever to call Austin home.

Today Austin360 is premiering the album track "All Gone Fuzzy," which features Tony Scalzo out front. It's a propulsive and melodic number, immediately infectious and a quick hitter at three minutes and 17 seconds. Check it out:

Catch Fastball's record-release party on Saturday at the Saxon Pub (8 p.m., $25). They'll also play a free 5 p.m. in-store at Waterloo Records on Oct. 25.
