One of Austin's most prominent distilleries is now one of the most accessible.
Treaty Oak Distilling recently expanded the hours of the on-site tasting room and bar to seven days a week but also cut back on the days that Alice's Restaurant is open. The charming eatery named after the Treaty Oak founder's mother serves up Texas cuisine on weekends only going forward. (It had previously held Thursday hours.)
Rest assured you'll find spirits aplenty at the Treaty Oak tasting room. The casual space offers guided tastings in addition to full pours of the wines, craft beers and cocktails on the menu there. Tastings, if you prefer that sort of boozy adventure, include 3 wines or 6 of the spirits made on-site. Treaty Oak specializes in gin and whiskey and has also begun to offer its own label of Texas wine.
