Sure, Texas is known for great burgers. But one upscale Houston hotel is taking it to the next level by offering a $1,600 burger option at one of its restaurants.
The H-Bar inside the Post Oak Hotel in Uptown Houston recently unveiled the "Black Gold" burger, which comes with sliced Japanese A5 Wagyu beef; seared foie gras; black truffles; and truffle aioli on a caviar-infused black-and-gold brioche bun. It's served with a bottle of 2006 Dom Perignon.
