KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is expanding Austin's nonstop flight options to Europe, offering service from Austin-Bergstrom to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol beginning May 4, 2020.

The flights will be offered on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays on a 292-seat Airbus A330-300, the airline announced Tuesday. Flights will leave Austin at 6 p.m. local time and arrive in Amsterdam at 10:25 a.m. local time. Return flights will depart Amsterdam at 12:40 p.m. local time and arrive in Austin at 4:10 p.m. local time.

“KLM's flights contribute to Austin-Bergstrom’s goal of connecting Austin to the world, and the world to Austin,” said Jacqueline Yaft, director of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, in a statement. “Our recent nine-gate expansion gives AUS six new international-capable gates, and we look forward to growing those capabilities even more in the future as the airport itself expands.”

British Airways and Norwegian currently offer nonstop flights from Austin to London, and Lufthansa offers nonstop service to Frankfurt.
